COOK, ALPHA OMEGA, 94, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her daughter's home in Duluth, GA.

Born in Paducah, KY, she was a retired operator for the Kentucky/Indiana Railroad, and was a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter #391, and Hurstbourne Baptist Church.

Alpha was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cook; and a daughter, Charlotte Wright.

She is survived by daughter, Judy Carrol Herbert; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Alpha's funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Highlands.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Eastern Star Home.
