Ann Marie enjoyed shopping, gardening, and was an exceptional cook. She and her husband, Charles, owned a bed and breakfast and shared a love of horse racing, owning two racehorses, Taylor Tiger and Emerald. Together they enjoyed traveling to Florida and making lasting memories.

Known for her wonderful sense of humor, Ann loved playing pranks on those she cared about, yet she was also remembered by her children as one of the classiest women they had ever known. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome. One of her greatest joys was tending to her beautiful flower gardens, which included flowers she lovingly brought home from Germany.
