TURNER, BILLY A., 84, of Louisville passed away November 11, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and the Greater Louisville Central Labor Council. Billy retired from American Synthetic Rubber Corporation as a Chemical Operator and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Alan R. Turner.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Greenwell Turner; son, Joe Turner (Karen); daughters, Jeanie Bronger (Frank), Kathy Wolpert (John) and Becky Cooper (Randall); grandchildren, Andy, Ryan, Chris, Melanie, Jennifer, Saundra, Leslie and Michael; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday, noon-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
