HORD, BOBBIE "OMA," 103, died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at The Richwood Nursing Home.
Born in Jackson, Co., she was a retired JCPS first grade teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Hord.
Bobbie is survived by her sons, Ben F. III (Peggy), John E. (Linda) and James M. (Sharon); seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Hosparus of Louisville, The Richwood and other caregivers that looked after her.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands.
Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
