Bradley “Brad” Glen Todd, 68, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in his hometown. Born on July 6, 1957, in Louisville to Bruce and Mary Todd, Brad was a lifelong Kentuckian who carried his warmth, humor, and easygoing spirit with him wherever he went.
In his younger years, Brad enjoyed playing tennis and spending time outdoors. After graduating from high school, he began what would become a remarkable 40-year career with United Parcel Service (UPS). His dedication and strong work ethic defined much of his professional life, and he took great pride in the years he devoted to the company before retiring. Retirement suited Brad well—he truly loved taking it easy and savoring the simple pleasures of everyday life.
Brad enjoyed watching television, sometimes just to fill the silence of a quiet room. When he was tuned in, you could be sure he was cheering on the Louisville Cardinals basketball, proudly supporting his hometown team. He was also a fan of Lamar Jackson and followed his games with the Baltimore Ravens. Brad found comfort and laughter in shows like The Big Bang Theory and even enjoyed keeping up with his favorite soap operas.
A devoted coffee drinker with a well-known sweet tooth, Brad never turned down a slice of pecan pie or just about anything with sugar. He delighted in life’s small indulgences and was happiest with a cup of coffee and a sweet treat close at hand.
Though a bit of a homebody, Brad was outgoing, friendly, and open-hearted. He had many friends and was known for being welcoming and accepting of everyone he met. He loved playing chess—whether online with friends or across a table in person—and was known to be quite skilled at the game.
Brad was also a lifelong music lover, especially of The Beatles, his favorite band. He enjoyed attending Abbey Road on the River, where he could celebrate their music alongside fellow fans.
Above all, Brad cherished time with his son, Michael, especially when he visited from Georgia. The two enjoyed going to the movies together, moments Brad held close to his heart. One of his favorite shows was Star Trek, a story that sparked his imagination and sense of adventure.
Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce H. Todd Sr. and Mary Claggett Todd; and brother, Bruce H. Todd Jr.
Left to cherish his memory, Brad is survived by his son, Michael Todd (Maggie Ragsdale); siblings, Rita Bratcher, Debbie Mouser, Dickie Todd, and Brian Todd; many nieces and nephews; and a host of close friends.
Brad will be remembered for his gentle spirit, friendly nature, and the genuine kindness he showed to others. His presence, laughter, and love of life’s simple joys will be deeply missed.
A funeral service for Mr. Bradley Todd will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday prior to the funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
