LoBalbo, Carl View/Sign Guest Book LoBALBO, CARL, 86, passed away April 16, 2009 in Tifton, GA, where he had resided since 1995. He was a retired salesman from the old Stewarts Dry Goods , a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Our Divine Savior Catholic Church. He was born in the Bronx, NY to Salvatore and Angelina (Sardella) LoBalbo. Survivors include his wife of nearly 65 years (May 2, 2009), Helen Marie (Sandbach) LoBalbo; one daughter, Judy (William) Weckman; three grandchildren, Scott Weckman, Brad (Trina) Weckman, and Christy (Steve) McCormack; five great-grandchildren, Ryan Martorelli, Casey Weckman, Aidan, Maddie and Caleb McCormack; one brother, Charles LoBalbo; and one sister, Ann Taormina. A prayer service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
