MITCHELL, CARL, 63, passed away January 8, 2014. He was a member of Lanier Memorial Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran. Survivors include: his children, Tanya Henderson, Ronda Oliver, Quinette Mitchell, Carlisle Mitchell, and Nicole Bell-White; two brothers, Pete Mitchell and Arthur Mitchell; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Portland Memorial Baptist Church. Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Friday at G. C. Williams Funeral Home. Entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
