Carla Hobbs

Hobbs, Carla Jean (Smith),60, passed away Wednesday November 5, 2014. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Carla was a three time cancer survivor over the last eleven years . She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dorothy Smith; and her best friend, Rosie Carroll. Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Marvin; children, Chad Hobbs (Jacki), Bethany Martin (Chris) and Bradley Hobbs; three grandchildren, Jansen, Ethan and Carly; brothers, Alan, Vincent and Tony Smith; sisters, Vickie Krause, Barbara Frost and Dee Horn. Her funeral will be 12 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be at 12-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
