Carleen Carver "Sam" Share E-mail Visit Guest Book CARVER, CARLEEN "SAM," 69, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at her home. She was surrounded by family and friends and passed peacefully.
She retired from Mediq PRN Durable Medical Equipment as a regional sales representative. She was a Christian and attended Shively Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dobie Wayne Carver; both of her parents, Donnie and James Henry Williams; brothers, Hillard, Carse and Kenneth Williams; two nephews, Brett Larimore and Randy Larimore; and a niece, Leddy Vetter.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Steven Wayne Carver; daughter, Jodie Lynn Carver Hignite (Taylor); granddaughters, Stephanie Lynn Hignite and Kelsie Olivia Hignite; a sister, Loraine Larimore; nine nephews; and eight nieces.
Her funeral service will be noon Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 4 to 9 pm Monday and from 9 a.m. Tuesday to the time of service.
