LOTZE, CAROL ANN, 63, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at home after a long fight with brain cancer and paralysis.
She was born in Louisville on July 11, 1947 to Russell and Oressa (Stewart) Lampton. Carol loved the Lord and was a member of Leitchfield United Methodist Church, where she had many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a son, Scotty Lotze.
She will be loved and missed by family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 44 years, Charles W. Lotze; a son, Michael Lotze (Julie); her mother, Oressa Lampton; brother, Terry Lampton (Amy); stepgrandson, Jerod Patrick; special nephew, Joshua Lampton; uncles, Herschel Lampton (Marie) and Rudolph Lampton; aunt, Mary Alice Cockerel; brother-in-law, Joe Lotze (Susan); sister-in-law, Theresa Cook (Donnie); and nephews, Steven and Todd Cook.
Funeral service will be noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will Sunday from 1-9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m.-noon.
