Carol Johnson

Carol Sue Johnson, 79, wife of the late Joseph L. Johnson Jr., died Friday, October 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Louisville, KY. December 21, 1938 the daughter of the late Frank & Sally Reynolds Gootee. Carol was raised in the Catholic faith and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Jill Mullaney (Pat), Joseph Johnson (Lisa) and Dean Johnson (Stephanie), sisters, Sherry Holbert, Doris Bridwell, Janice Gootee and Sally Cali. 12 grandchildren and  4 great grandchildren, along with several nieces & nephews, also survive.

A service celebrating Carol’s life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 30th at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 on Monday, October 29th at the funeral home.
