Charles "Charlie" Andrew Bianco, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026.

Charlie was born on October 22, 1954, in Queens, New York, to Charles and Rose Bianco. Throughout his life, he was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, proud great-grandfather, Army veteran, and loyal friend. While he held many titles, the one he treasured most was family man.

For 35 wonderful years, Charlie shared an extraordinary love with his wife, Janet, who was truly the love of his life. She was his whole world, and the bond they shared was one built on love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. One of their favorite recent traditions was their Thursday date nights—a simple but meaningful reminder that they always made time for one another.

Charlie loved his family with all his heart. Whether they were gathered together at home, spending a day blueberry picking, traveling, or simply enjoying one another's company, those were the moments that meant the most to him. He found joy in life's simple pleasures when they were shared with the people he loved. His dogs also held a special place in his heart, and he cared for them as cherished members of the family.

Charlie was immensely proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Army. Being an Army veteran was an honor he carried with great pride throughout his life, and he was grateful for the opportunity to serve.

He and his family shared a love for traveling and created many treasured memories together. While they visited many destinations over the years, the Great Smoky Mountains, Reno, and Las Vegas were among his favorites. Charlie especially enjoyed trying his luck at the casino or playing on his computer, with blackjack always being his game of choice.

Anyone who knew Charlie knew he never met a meal he didn't enjoy. He loved all kinds of food, but lasagna and clams always held a special place in his heart. Charlie also loved fishing, and some of his family's favorite stories include coming home to find the bathtub filled with the day's catch. He had a playful sense of humor and delighted in chasing his daughters with fish or bugs, always hoping to hear their laughter—and maybe a few screams.

As the years went by, Charlie embraced a quieter pace of life. He enjoyed relaxing while listening to country music, watching Cops and professional wrestling, and spending time with those he loved. He also had a passion for collecting, whether it was coins, antiques, or unique treasures he discovered along the way. He found joy in preserving pieces of history and sharing them with others.

Charlie will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his loyal heart, his playful spirit, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the love he gave so freely, the traditions he started, the laughter he inspired, and the family that remained the center of his world until his final day.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Phillip Bianco and Rose Snachez Bianco.

Left to cherish his memory, Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Janet Bianco; daughters, Amanda Lewis and Regina Raver; son-in-law, Paul Raver; grandchildren, Kyle Bianco, Katelynn Lewis, Zachery Lewis, Kimberly Raver, and Matthew Raver; great-grandchildren, Nichole Raver, Ila Sampson, Asher Sampson, Hazel Lewis, and Ty Lewis; and a host of extended family and close friends.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
