Darrell Lee Meredith Share E-mail Visit Guest Book MEREDITH, DARRELL LEE, 56, beloved husband of Peggy Meredith, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009.
Born in Louisville, he was the son of Dorothy "Dottie" Perkins and the late Emmett L. Meredith Jr. He was a Christian by faith.
Darrell was most recently employed with Meredith Machinery and had also worked for many years at Krauth Electric Co. and TBA, LLC.
He is survived by his beloved wife, the former Peggy Price; his mother, Dottie Perkins; children, Amy Meredith Schutz (Matt), Holly Meredith (Roman), Katie Meredith and Sean Meredith; step-son, John Morrison (Christie); grandchildren, Emma Morrison and Madeline Schutz; and brothers, David Meredith (Julie) and Steve Meredith (Anne).
Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday and from 10 am Saturday until the time of service.
