HARTLAGE, DORIS JEAN, 74, of Shively, peacefully passed from this life on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at Park Terrace.
She was the former Doris Bryan and a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Hartlage; her parents, Tom and Agnes Bryan; sister, LaVerne Reed; and brother, Tom Bryan Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Roederer (Dennis); sons, Bryan (Teresa) and Ronnie Hartlage (Stacey); sister, Joan Gahafer; a trusted friend, Betty Greenert; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and her special four legged companion, "Lucy." The family would like to thank Park Terrace for all the kindness and extra special care shown to the family and their mother.
A Mass of celebration for Mrs. Hartlage will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mary Queen of Peace (St. Helen Campus), 4005 Dixie Hwy., with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. The family will receive friends at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. from noon-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
