Edgar Happel

HAPPEL, EDGAR ALLEN, 89, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009, at Baptist Hospital East. He was a mortgage banker until his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Elsie Mae Eifler Happel; a daughter, Judy Parr (Keith); a son, Don Happel (Cindy); six grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelli, Kristi, Bret, Christopher and Anthony; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Chamberlain. His funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Arch L Heady Westport Road with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be given to WHAS Crusade for Children.
