Edward Blanton

Edward Lee Blanton, 81, returned to his Heavenly Father on June 12, 2021. He was born on April 16, 1940 in Louisville, the son of the late Edward Blanton and Mable Washburn. Edward was a proud United States Army Veteran and member of American Legion Post #220, where he loved to spend time with many great friends. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Melissa Hasselwander (David) and Dianne Hollan (Shelby), sisters Eva Wilson and the late Martha Hasch, brother Larry Blanton (Helen), grandchildren Eric, Christine and Daniel Hasselwander, Alexander and Olivia Hollan, and his beloved girlfriend of 23 years, Gertrude Schaftlein.
