Elizabeth G. "Bette" Ward | Visit Guest Book WARD, ELIZABETH G. "BETTE," 75, passed away Monday June 7, 2010.
Bette was born in Akron, OH. She moved to Louisville, where she spent 31 years working for Philip Morris. She retired in 1993.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Marcy Victor Ward. She was one of five daughters born to Rudolph and Jean Sucher.
She is survived by her sons, Hal Budd, Gary Budd Sr. "Beetlejuice," and Douglas Budd; sisters, Margaret Woolsey, Jackie Stump and Peggy Lue Vernon; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or to American Cancer Society .
