SCHNEIDER, ELVIRA, 78, passed away Friday, September 11, 2009 in the comfort of her daughter's home in Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin and husband, Kenneth Schneider.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Conner (Pat); sons, Mike (Linda), Kent (Connie), Jeff (Denise) and Steve (Teresa) Schneider; sister, Gelinda Hollingsworth (Tom); brother, Manfred Stein; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service celebrating Elvira's life will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Chapel of Peace, 11601 Ballardsville Road. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 2 p.m. until service time on Tuesday. Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
