STELZER, EMIL, 93, passed away on March 22, 2011.
He was a retired employee of American Standard where he worked for 41 years, a former employee of Andy Fran Security Co., and a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gottleib and Karolina Stelzer; and his brothers, Adolph, Charles, and Theodore.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 71 years, Mildred (Meeks) Stelzer; his daughters, Sharon Ann Blankenship and Phyllis K. Martin (Tony); grandchildren, Holli Blevins (Will), Beth Long (Paul), Arnold Blankenship (Tricia), Tony Martin (Allison), and Heather Cox (Frankie); ten great grandchildren; and his sisters, Bessie Patton.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 11 a.m. Friday.
