FLOYD, FLETCHER GRAHAM, 83, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Kindred Hospital.
He was a retired station attendant at Brenzels Chevron and served with the Army in the Asian-Pacific Campaign during World War II .
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Jo Ann E. Floyd; son, Steven G. Floyd; and brother, Julius Floyd.
Fletcher is survived by sons, Jeffery L. Floyd (Kim) and Dan R. Floyd ( Christine); five grandchildren and two great-grand children.
Funeral services celebrating Mr. Floyd's life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Chapel of Peace, 1160 Ballardsville Road. Visitation will also be at the Chapel of Peace Tuesday, 2-7 p.m. and Wednesday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to service. Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is handling the arrangements Family requests donations be made to Fisher House(tm) Foundation, Inc.
