Frank Wilson

Frank Edward Wilson, 85, beloved husband of Doris, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2021 at his residence in Louisville.  He was born on December 2, 1936, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late William and Katherine Wilson.  Frank was of the catholic faith and a proud United States Navy Veteran.   He enjoyed golfing, Nascar, coin collecting, bowling and was well known for his amazing 4th of July fireworks display “Thunder over the Wilson’s”.  Besides his loving wife of 60 years, Doris, he is survived by his daughters, Karen Marie Wilson and Rebecca Lynn Doyle (Matthew), sister, Joyce Smith, sister-in-law, Jan, aunts, Mary Pack and Norma Ethridge, grandchildren, Justin (Samantha), Bryan, Cameron, Caitlyn, Angela, Aaron, and Zachary, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his son, William Aaron Wilson, brother, William “Sonny” Wilson, brother-in-law, Raymond, and his beloved dog, Winston.
