George W. Capito ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book CAPITO, GEORGE W., 81, passed away Sunday, June 21 2009 at Britthaven of So. Louisville. He was a Navy World War II Veteran, member of Shively Christian Church and retired form Duff Truck Lines where he was a driver and belonged to Teamsters Local 89. Mr. Capito was preceded in death by his parents; and brother. He is survived by and was a devoted husband to his wife of 60 years, Ella Frances Capito; a beloved father to Patrica Dodson (Joseph) and Theresa Herren (David); grandfather to Joseph Dodson Jr. (Kim), Tina Terry (Ron), Nathanial House (Nikki); great-grandfather to Aaron, Ashley, Mckenna, Nathanial James; and six other step-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise and Katheryn Vires; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service celebrating Mr. Capito's life will held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Family and friends may visit 9 a.m.-2 p.m. prior to service Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home
