Geraldine Ann Koreck

Geraldine Ann Koreck, 79, passed away on December 8, 2022. She was born on November 10, 1943, to the late Lawrence Patrick and Juanita Frances Barker Fahey. She was a former bookkeeper and housewife. Geraldine always put her family first and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very smart and witty lady and was loved by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Matthew William Koreck; her son, Matthew Lawrence Koreck and her great grandson, Keagan.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Kay Thomas (Joe), Victoria Lynn Kuhn (Tony) and Melissa Ann Wilson (John); brothers, Pat Fahey (Patsy), Danny Fahey, Gary Fahey; her ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and her faithful dog companion “Boss Barton Koreck”.

Funeral Services for Geraldine will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 3:00 pm, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 11:00 until time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shirley’s Way.
