Gladys Irene Matthis ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book MATTHIS, GLADYS IRENE, 98, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Klondike Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Sr; and son, Stewart. She is survived by her grandchildren, Melaney, Dale and Paul Matthis; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kenwood Baptist Church.
