She was a member of Hikes Point Christian Church.
Preceded in death by her husband James W. Brown; and son, James W. Brown.
Goldie is survived by Linda Saches and Joyce Engle (Tom) nieces who cared for her.
She is also survived by four generations of loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial services honoring Goldie's life will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. prior to service on Saturday.
