Howard Thompson

Howard James Thompson, 90, passed away at home on Thursday March 7, 2019.   He was born to the late Roy and Lizzie (Taylor) Thompson in Hart County, Kentucky.  He is also preceded in death by a son, Stanley Thompson.

Howard retired from General Electric; he loved Bluegrass music, an Army veteran, and was a Catholic by faith.

He is survived by two sons, Steve Thompson (Monica), Martin Thompson, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two brothers, Randy Thompson (Doris Jean) and Danny Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 6:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 pm until time of service.
