Irene Poynter

Irene Elkins Poynter, passed from this life on February 27, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Poynter.

She was a member of the former Ralph Avenue Church of Christ and a retired Kroger employee.

She is survived by her children, Betty Poynter, Roberta Pitts, and William Poynter (Rebecca Sue); her grandchildren James Poynter, Douglas Poynter, Jennifer Poynter and Jodi Rayborn as well as 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
