KING, JAMES F., 76, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on May 5, 2014. Mr. King retired from the Ford Motor Company Kentucky Truck Plant after 30 years of service, was employed by Fire & Specialty Equipment Company, a member of Fairdale Christian Church, and a U.S. Navy veteran. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Franklin and Louvina King; brother, Patrick King; and sister, Karen Hadley. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 53 years, Deloris King; daughters, Rhonda Pierson (Gary) and Pam Janes (Rodney); son, Jimmy King II (Michelle); grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelsey, Timmy, Caroline, Sarah, Jimmy III, Cody and Chase. Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Fairdale Christian Church, 9000 Brown Austin Rd. Fairdale, KY, 40118 with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road; use John Harper entrance) and Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church. www.subfuneralhome.com
