RAYHILL, JAMES D. "BUB," 87, went home to his Lord, Monday April 14, 2014 at Baptist Health Care. He was born in Fairdale, KY., the second son of 10 children of the union of Samuel W. and Margaret (Purcell) Rayhill. "Bub" was retired from the maintenance dept at G.E., with 33 years service. He was a Scout Leader and a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Survivors include his first wife of 23 years and mother of his children, Sylvia M. Albro and his wife of 42 years, Marie (Andrews) Rayhill; his children, Linda Baker (Mike), Judy K. Adamson (Jerry) and James T. Rayhill (Cindy); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters: "Sissie" Mitchell (Ray) and "Birdie" Baker (Tommy). Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
