James M. Turner Jr. TURNER, JAMES M. JR., 84, of Louisville, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at the VA Medical Center.
He was a retired self-employed electrician, a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Valley Masonic Lodge 511, American Legion Post 220, Moose Lodge #5, Kosair Shrine Greeter Unit and the Rat Racers of Louisville Dance Club.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Stayton Turner; a son, Gary Turner (Sandy); a daughter, Cheri Wilson (Mike); three grandsons, Jason, Jeremy and Joshua; and one great-grandson, Tyler.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, followed by burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to Kosair Charities or Bethany United Methodist Church.
