Forrest, Janis A. View/Sign Guest Book FORREST, JANIS A., 71, of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2008, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She retired from Plaza Cleaners and was a member of Broadway Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Robert and Tammy Forrest; daughter, Shirley Higgins; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Robert Slaughter; daughter, Debby Vetter; eight grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; two sisters, M. Louise Newman and J. Marie Barber (Lowell); two brothers, Al Moore and Ray Moore (Margaret); and numerous nieces and nephews. Her services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 6-9 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Charities.
