She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Mitchell.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Head (Jack); son, Tommy Mitchell (Patty); brother, Ronnie Walker; sisters, Carol Walker and Nancy Booker; grandchildren, Kristyn Bowman (Chris), Jeremy Head (Carrie), April Baker (David) and Amber Mitchell; and great-grandchildren, Lillian Head, Jacob Head, Jalissa Baker and Jazzlyn Baker.
Her service will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
