Joanna Faye Farris, 71, passed away on July18, 2022. Joanna was born in Holy Cross, Kentucky, on April 7, 1951, to the late Joseph and Mary Norman Downs.
Joanna dedicated her life to serving our Country and retired from the US Army as a Sargant First Class.
Joanna was preceded in death by her parents, her stepdaughter and her sisters.
She is survived by her cousins, Wayne Downs, Juanita Nalley, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration with Military Rites to honor Joanna’s life will be held at 1PM on Thursday, 28, 2022, at the VFW Post 5710, 5710 Highway 44 West Shepherdsville, KY.
