Joel Kannel

Joel E. Von Kannel, 58, passed away on Monday April 24, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his father Ernest Von Kannel and a brother Ernest Von Kannel III.
Joel was a carpenter and along with his father owned Ernest Von Kannel & Son Construction.
He is survived by his children, Joel Von Kannel, Jr. (Bonnie), Amanda Von Kannel, and Zachary Von Kannel (Tessa) along with his mother Dorothy Norris (Lt. Col. James H. Norris), siblings, Diane Henry, John Von Kannel, Jay Von Kannel (Lori) and grandchildren, Sarah, Savannah, and Ronin.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Friday from 2-7 pm at the funeral home.
