John Humphries

John Taylor Humphries, 72, husband of Lettie F. Langley Humphries, died Saturday May 11, 2013 at his residence. Born November 14, 1940 in Mount Sterling, Ky. he is the son of the late Charles L. and Martha Knox Humphries.
John was the owner/operator of Transcord Leasing, a U.S. Navy Veteran and an avid golfer having been a 38 year member of South Park Country Club.
Besides his wife of nearly eight years he is survived by his sons, John C. Humphries (Holly) and Steve Humphries (Shannon), sister ,Susan Humphries Walters (Bill), six grandchildren, Christopher, Kelsie, Austin, Dylan, Berkley, Shelby, his great grandson, Gage, and his stepchildren, Jennifer Carpenter and Greg Beeler. His "faithful little girl", Lucky Lucy also survives.
