Lott, Rev. John L. Jr.,61, died Monday May 11, 2015.He was senior pastor of Eastern Parkway Baptist Church, director of Marketing and Admissions of Green Meadows Healthcare, a member of Suburban Masonic Lodge #740, American Legion Iroquois Post #229, he was on the patient advisory council at Norton Audubon Hospital, and a regional Chaplin for the VFW.He was preceded in death by his parents; John L. and Willidean F. Lott; and his sister, Elaine Morrison.He is survived by his wife, the former Sharon Hines; Step-son, Chris Hines; grandson, Laken Hines; and a friend, Ben Bays.His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Eastern Parkway Baptist Church 601 Eastern Parkway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at Eastern Parkway Baptist Church.Memorial gifts may be made to Eastern Parkway Baptist Church.Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway is entrusted with the arrangements.
