QUARFELD , JOHN E. JR., 49, passed away December 18, 2010 at University Hospital.
Mr. Quarfeld served his country for 12 years as a Army sergeant first class and owner/ operator of E.P.S. Connection L.L.C. John gave the gift of life by being an "Organ Donor." He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Valerie; their three children, John, Jenny and Jamie; grandson, Lex; sisters, Brenda Powers, Judy Conquest, Bonnie Chesher, Connie Hessig and Debbie Raley; a brother, Donny Quarfeld; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services celebrating John's life will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Garden Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. prior to services Wednesday. Private entombment is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
