SCHRAUT, JOHN PETE, 91, husband of the late Dorothy Marie Hartlage Schraut, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
Born in Louisville October 9, 1920 he is the son of the late John P. and Caroline Buchhold Schraut Sr. He was a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church, a farmer and had been a bus driver for JCPS.
Mr. Schraut is survived by his son, Donald Schraut (Diane); grandson, Donnie Schraut (Kim); two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Isaiah Schraut; and his buddy, Mia.
A service celebrating Mr. Schraut's life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
