Kathryn L. Spiva, wife to the late Lamar G. Spiva, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2016 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Salem, Indiana to the late John M. and Nova K. Limp Petri on December 25, 1927.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Carol Ann Oakes and siblings, "Dean" Sumner and Marcus Petri, Jr. (Myrtie).
She was a member of Beechland Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son John Spiva (Georgia) with grandchildren, Cindy Oakes, John Spiva, Jr. (Christina), Kerra Bush (Scott), Melissa Pequero (Melvyn), and many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren along with sister Lucille Garrett and several nieces and nephews.
