Kenneth Powell

Kenneth E.Powell , 84, husband of Martha Jackey Powell, died Friday April 12, 2013 at Summerfield Health & Rehabilitation. He was born in West Point, Ky. March 14, 1929 the son of the late Abraham & Maude Duncan Powell.
Mr. Powell was retired having been a letter carrier for 31 years, was a Kentucky Colonel, a long time Scout Master, umpired ASA softball for 25 years, and was a member of the NALC .
Besides his wife of 57 years he is survived by his children, David Powell (Teri), Theresa Powell,PhD (Thomas Jansson, MD, PhD), John Powell (Lanita Beavers) and Brenda Powell (Bill Humphrey), 5 grandaughters, Cori, Taylor, Megan, Jorden, Eden, and 3 step-grandaughters, Cassie, Brandy and Angela.
