Kenneth Short

Kenneth Owen Short, 83, loving husband to Joyce Bentley Short, passed away at home on Sunday October 16, 2016. He was born to the late Richard and Josie Wilkins Short in Edmondson, Kentucky on December 22, 1932. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, James, Darrell, Leroy, and Ballard Short.
Kenneth was a machinist tool and dye maker for Novelis Corp for 46 years , he was an Korean War Army Veteran, a member of Local 681, and was a member of the American Softball Association Hall of Fame.
Besides his wife of 63 years, he is survived by their children, Carol Vance (Harry), Dennis Short (Shelly), Jeffrey Short (Vicki), Marcia (Short) Goodman, and Todd Short (Stacie) along with 7 grandchildren, Andrew, Andrea, Lucas, Hanna, Ethan, Chloe, and McKenna.
