Kenneth "Kenny" Goodlett, Sr.

Kenneth “Kenny” E. Goodlett, Sr., 80, loving husband to Martha (Miller) Goodlett, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Monday May 20, 2019.

He was born to the late Howard and Myrtle (Houchins) Goodlett in Louisville on December 28, 1938.  He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joe Goodlett (Robbie), Junie Goodlett, and his sister Virginia Hicks.

Kenny was a maintenance worker for Louisville Boat Club and a Baptist by faith.

Along with his wife of 61 years, he is survived by children, Kenneth E. Goodlett, Jr. (Linda), Kimberly E. Vanover (Darryl), Kathy E. Dennis (Tony), and Kevin E. Goodlett (Tara Propes).  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Carol Goodlett.

The family would to thank Hosparus for the care given to Kenny especially  to Dana and her team.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service.
