Kenneth “Kenny” L. Wientjes, Sr., husband to Sharon (Faught) Wientjes, passed away on Thursday April 25, 2019 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was born to the late Raymond and Leola (Waggner) Wientjes in Louisville on August 23, 1946. He is also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Kenny retired as a route salesman from Dolly Madison.
Besides his wife he is survived by children, Kenneth T. Wientjes, Joseph Proctor, Kenneth L, Wientjes, Jr., Amanda Butler ( Adam), Candi Butler (Todd), Melissa Proctor, Victoria Judd (Jeff), Denise Diaz (Al), Sherilyn Longacre (Mike) along with 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sisters, Patricia Osborne and Normal McMillin.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
