GOBEN, LAVERNE (CHAPPELL), 80,returned to her Heavenly Father, July 2, 2014.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John W. Goben, children Steven E. Goben (Ranetta), Sandra Roberts (Steve), John "Doug" Goben (Tina) and Rebecca Goben. Five grandchildren Angela , Kayleigh, Stephanie, Julie and Kelsey; two great-grandchildren Damon and Delaney. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, many friends and loved ones who will always remember her for her kindness and generosity to others.
Her funeral will be noon Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Friday, noon to 8 pm .
