KIEFER, LEO J., 89, passed away May 22, 2010 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
Mr. Kiefer was a resident at the Ponder Creek Retirement Apartment. He was a World War II veteran and retired from Seagrams Distillery after 46 years of service.
Survived by three daughters, Janet Hutcherson (Jim), Linda Hayes (Bill), Diane Zinninger (Johnny); and a son, Jimmy Keifer (Margie); four sisters, Dorothy Countin, Anna Carpenter, Frances Schaftlein and Margie Schaftlein; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Mr. Kiefer was cremated and burial will be private. Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
