Leroy Woodson

Leroy Woodson, 81, loving husband to Shirley (Adams) Woodson, passed away on Monday January 4, 2021 at UL Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.  He was born to the late Harry, Sr., and Rose Woodson in Louisville on February 13, 1939.

Leroy was a produce clerk for Davis Bros. Produce for many years and he was a very hard worker and when he had time he loved to swim, paint, and draw.

Besides his wife of 64 years, he is survived by their children, Arthur Woodson, Cheryl Niebruegge (Brent), Thelma Coulter (Mike), Jesse Woodson (Donna Ashley), Eric Woodson alonbg with grandchildren, Michael, Crystal, Jessica, Tiffany, Sherry, Terry and Zach with numerous great-grandchildren and his sisters, Rosemary and Lilia.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 5:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 until time of service.
