Linus Jude & Adelaide Sue Carter

Linus and Adelaide Carter returned to their Lord after their brief, but immeasurably impactful, life. Born at 21 weeks, Linus and Adelaide have provided their loved ones with a lifetime of joy and an eager hope for their eventual Heavenly reunion.

Linus and Adelaide are survived by their parents, Shelby and Alex Carter; sister, Cecilia Carter; grandparents Debbie Carter, Tracy Carter, Jimma Denise Ratliff, Lester Lemaster, and Carol Walker; aunt and uncle Shelby and Robby Baker; cousins Bernadette Baker and Margaret Baker; and a host of extended family and friends who love them deeply.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Linus and Adelaide will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 14th, 2026, at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. A luncheon will follow at Incarnation.
