Louise Ray-Murphy

Louise A. Ray-Murphy, wife to the late Dennis Murphy, passed away, surrounded by family, on September 3, 2020.

She was born to the late Joseph W., Sr. and Althea D. (Flannigan) Ray in Louisville on March 8, 1930.  She is also preceded in death by siblings, Angela McKnight, David Ray, and Martin Ray.

She was a retired teacher for parochial and public schools for many years, she attended Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, with her husband, and was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Parish (formerly St. Jerome Catholic Church).

She is survived by 3 brothers, Joseph W. Ray, Jr., James Ray (Mary), and Michael Ray (Connie) stepdaughters, Pam and Sandy, and a host of nieces and nephews.
