Marian Gowen

Gowen, Marian E. (Keith),88, went home to her Lord Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.She was born in Oakland, CA. to Rondie E. and Anna May (Rockey) Keith. Marian was a retired secretary/clerk for Belknap Hardware Co., with 30 + years service and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Dixie Post # 220.She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 59 years, Jesse N. Gowen and her brothers, Richard and John Keith.Survivors include a nephew, Danny Gowen (Sherry) and a niece, Charlotte Van Meter and several other nieces and nephews.Funeral sill be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
