Bryant, Mary Ellen (Carter) View/Sign Guest Book BRYANT, MARY ELLEN (CARTER), 95, the Angels took her to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 21, 2007 from Norton Hospital. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ballard; and son, John M. Bryant. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Bryant Sr. (Doris); daughters, Juanita Johnson and Shirley Woods (Phil); 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Her celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Her burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday.
